Hi everyone! Sorry for missing my weekly Wednesday post, I was swamped with work and way too tired to post yesterday. But I’m here today!
I hope you guys had a fun weekend. Now that Halloween is over, it’s now the Christmas season. As I said on Twitter yesterday, I feel like Thanksgiving is just Christmas Part 1 (lol).
So, lately I’ve been using a couple of apps for food and hotels. I have some promo codes that you guys can use and wanted to share!
When I’m in NYC vs my home in the middle of nowhere NJ, I take advantage of food apps. My favorite one is Postmates. The great thing about it is the fact that you can get delivery from places that don’t regularly deliver, like Chipotle and Shake Shack. My code – 8FHJJ for a free delivery of up to $10
Everyone’s heard of Uber, but I only started using it a couple of months ago. The bad press and my loyalty to taxis pushed me away from it. But I recently started using it and I’ve had good experiences so far. My code – temia334ue for your first ride free, worth up to $20.
HotelTonight is probably my favorite app on this list. I don’t use anything else when I’m booking a hotel. You get reduced rates because these are the rooms that hotels are unable to sell, and you can monitor rates for up to a week before the date you want to book to make sure you book at the lowest rate possible. My code – TADEBOWALE FOR $25 off your first booking.
Now, on to the witch hazel – For my friend’s birthday, we went to a spa and I got my first facial. It was amazing and my aesthetician was super helpful and answered all of my questions. When she checked out the pre-facial info sheet that I filled out, she said that the witch hazel I was using as a toner was amazing and that most people don’t know how good it is for their skin. I did a post on witch hazel in August, and I don’t think I realized how much better my skin is until she said that. Most noticeably, my skin is less oily, which has always been a source of frustration me for me. I would definitely recommend adding witch hazel to your skin care routine.
So how did you guys like this post? Will you use any of the apps? Do you think witch hazel will help your skin? Comment below!
